Terms of Use

1. What this is
This is a free internet connection diagnostic tool. It measures ping, jitter, download bandwidth, and upload bandwidth using real network requests against Cloudflare's public speed-test infrastructure, and shows your detected ISP, IP address, and nearest edge location using a public IP-geolocation service. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
2. No warranty on accuracy
Results reflect real, live measurements taken at the moment you run the test, but network conditions vary constantly — Wi-Fi interference, other devices on your network, ISP traffic shaping, time of day, and the specific Cloudflare edge you're routed to can all affect the number you see. We report both a "peak" and a "sustained" figure to reduce (not eliminate) the effect of short-lived ISP speed boosts. Treat results as an informative estimate, not a certified or contractual measurement of your service.
3. Reliance on third-party infrastructure
This tool depends on services we don't operate — Cloudflare's speed-test endpoints and ipapi.co's IP-lookup API. We're not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or any downtime. If either service is unreachable, parts of the test (bandwidth measurement, or the provider/IP display) may fail to load or show "Detecting..." indefinitely.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to automate, script, or flood the test in a way intended to overload Cloudflare's or ipapi.co's infrastructure.
- Don't attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or bypass the measurement logic to misrepresent results.
- Use the location and provider information shown for your own diagnostic purposes, not to identify or track other people.
5. Data collection
See our Privacy Policy for exactly what data is involved in running a test, what third parties receive it, and what cookies are used.
6. Limitation of liability
This tool is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for decisions made based on test results (e.g., disputes with your ISP), for any data usage the test itself consumes against your plan's data cap, or for unavailability of the underlying third-party measurement services.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated as the tool changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
